 Folk harp music from
Austrian, Bavarian, and Tyrolean cultural traditions
for Oktoberfest and other festive occasions.
Daniel Jones has provided live harp music for the
Alpine Dancers and Singers of New Carrollton,
Maryland since 1998.
His Alpine harp repertoire includes Alpine airs,
waltzes, ländler, polkas, as well as wine and beer
drinking songs.
He has performed Alpine harp music at the Austrian
Embassy, Smithsonian Institution, Goethe Society,
German Orphans Home,
Blob’s Park, and the Germantown, Maryland
Oktoberfest.
In addition to German and Austrian folk music, his
ethnic harp repertoire includes Czech, Latvian,
Lithuanian, Finnish, and Russian folk music. |
